Breeders Market
The NSWCS wishes to advise of a trial sales opportunity for the January meeting
This trial was presented to the membership at the November 2007 NSWCS general meeting and agreed to, by over two thirds of the majority present and votingThis will NOT replace the mini auction for the months following but is a trial to see the benefits to members, visitors and club as a potential annual event

Trial Purpose
To allow members to sell more of the fish they breed – especially those that do not have access to retailers, club and forum networks
To provide buyers the opportunity to discuss fish requirements, techniques etc with the breeder
To educate both buyers and sellers about fish
To permit the viewing of fish prior to purchase
Buyer and seller scrutineering
To hopefully improve the quality of the fish available to members
To permit those interested in Networking, an opportunity to “Network”
To provide a friendly, healthy club, where members have more access to both the Committee and other experienced members of the club through direct contact

Conditions of Use
You must be a financial member to sell fish
Maximum limit of three (3) foam boxes of aquarium fish and/or dry goods – space requirement
No second hand electrical items to be sold
All lots must have the correct name of the fish on the bag.
All lots are to be booked in before 7:15
A “Lot Price” to be placed on the bag by the seller - the “Lot Price” is the maximum price that a lot of fish may be sold for
A commission fee of 10% of the “ Lot Price” is payable to the NSWCS prior to the start of the meeting
A seller and buyer may negotiate on a price at/or lower than the listed “Lot Price”
At the conclusion of the “Breeder Direct – Fish Sales” session, any unsold lots remain the property of the owner and no refund of commission will occur

Important Information
Buyers
Need not be members
Please be kind to your fish, if in any doubt, please bag fish separately.
After payment of commission, a coloured band or tape will be placed on the lot to indicate that it is available for sale inside the NSWCS Meeting
The trial will commence after the usual supper break and continue for approximately 60 – 90 minutes
The supper break will be used by sellers to setup a suitable area – outside in the quadrangle would be suitable for January
We suggest that sellers make up a sign listing what they have for sale
Any questions?
Then please contact Club Secretary Matthew Begaud on 0414 709035 or Secretary@NSWCS.org.au
